An ingredient guide should help the reader move from a familiar name to a clearly defined question. This sample describes the information architecture of that guide.
Identify the ingredient
Use the common name alongside any terminology needed to identify the preparation under discussion. Explain whether the page covers a whole ingredient, a particular extract, or a branded formulation.
Define the claimed use
Organize the research around specific outcomes. Avoid using one broad assessment to imply that every advertised benefit has been evaluated in the same way.
Connect evidence and limitations
A completed guide should explain the relevant sources, their methods, and the limits of their applicability. Make the distinction between a study’s findings and the site’s interpretation visible.
Keep reference pages useful
Link related claim reviews and relevant safety explainers. Record substantive updates so returning readers can identify what changed.
